Some of these traits can arise from nature or nurture or both. Personality theories aim at explaining how the different personalities arise. Comparison of the theories Freud and Tripartite theories are learned. Freud and Tripartite theories believe that the instinctual drives happen at an early age and determine a person’s personality in the long run.
